On March 30th, 2018 we were given the chance to use 80 Water Street as a space to both celebrate Good Friday and The Redemption Movement’s 5-year anniversary.
This service also served as a way for our supporters to preview the space we’d like to move into. It was a special time, celebrated by more than 25 friends that represented as many as five local churches.
Thanks to your generous gift, we were able to pay for April’s rent on the following Saturday, March 31st.
On April 1st, Easter 2018:
On April 6th, we’ll do our first indoor/outdoor Kindness Station, which will hopefully allow us to serve many more people in some very meaningful ways.
Myself and the Kindness Team are excited about this amazing opportunity, especially if this means that last Friday was the last outing where we packed up two cars’ worth of Kindness Station gear, hauled it from River Street to Water Street, set it all up, just to tear it all down and take it back again.
80 Water Street is currently our home for the next month, and with the support of our friends and our community, this space can even be our permanent home!
